• Experienced and trained registered nurses that have extensive knowledge in organ donor screens and evaluation for transplant.
• Effectively screen all organ donor calls in a timely manner according to the transplant center’s established criteria.
• Provide a detailed report to surgeon and/or transplant team members in a professional manner.
• Collaborate with OPOs throughout donor management prior to transplant to ensure the best outcome possible for the transplant recipient.

Transplant Coordination

Dedicated team that works closely with multiple transplant services to ensure a timely and efficient organ transplant.

• Experienced and trained staff that has prior experience with various OPOs and transplant service vendors.
• Efficient coordination of transplant teams and/or transport of organs.
• Timely communication throughout the transplant process to ensure a safe transplant.
• Trained nurses that will call and screen potential transplant recipients.
• Registered nurses (licensed in your state) to assist in the admission process for the transplant recipient.

Transplant Patient Management

Trained nurses will assist in the clinical management of transplant patients - pre-transplant, while on the waitlist, and post-transplant.

• Qualified nurses that have the ability to urgently list a transplant recipient.
• Registered nurses (licensed in your state) to assist in ABO verifications for potential transplant recipients.
• Trained staff that assist in quarterly calls to patients on the transplant list to assess transplant recipient readiness.
• Timely waitlist additions, modifications, and removals to ensure quality compliance for the transplant center.
• Detailed documentation of transplant status changes and/or events.

Data Collection and Anaylsis

Specialized team will collect and analyze transplant data to ensure compliance with industry standards and utilize data to improve transplant center outcomes.

• Accurately record and document all organ offers, along with donor and recipient specific information in compliance with industry standards.
• Perform routine audits of organ offer evaluations, acceptances, and declines to identify potential areas of improvement.
• Host routine meetings with transplant center staff to review and collaborate together to improve quality outcomes.
• Routinely review reports and analyze data to ensure quality standards are met.
• Provide potential recommendations supported by data-driven reports.

After-Hours Care Support

Trained nurses will provide 24/7 after-hours care support for transplant centers and transplant patients.

• Provide continuation of transplant care during after-hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Experienced nurses that quickly triage patient sick calls and provide timely recommendations in collaboration with transplant center providers.
• Receive and report critical labs and tests to designated provider for follow-up.
• Provide 24/7 coverage for patient and donor safety reporting events to the transplant center.
• Registered nurses (licensed in your state) to assist with medications refills and miscellaneous orders to ensure ongoing transplant care.
